According to an Oct. 5 article from Gear World , Georgia-based John Deere dealer Flint Products has sold its construction & forestry business in order to Florida-based Deere dealer Dobbs Equipment. The article stated Dobbs Tools would add 18 locations in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
A representative at Flint Devices confirmed with Farm Apparatus the sale only applied to the dealership’s building and forestry division, and that Flint Machines would maintain its ag plus power systems divisions.
